Mobile Network Swap and Modernization Management for Telecom Operator in Senegal
CHALLENGES
An operator required support from an independent consultancy company to manage the network swap, and modernization for its RAN, Core, IP, and Transmission networks from Nokia to Ericsson for around 2,000 2G sites and rolling out a new 3G network.
SOLUTION
- Overall project management including vendors and subcon governance comprising of network planning/design, rollout time plan, swap process, model site, civil work and site construction management, TE installation and integration, and site acceptance
- MVV and IOT management between Nokia and Ericsson
- Network optimization and performance review for swapped sites
- Project progress reporting to operator's management
